Job Title: Community & Events Coordinator (Part-time: 20-25 hours weekly)
Role Overview
The Community & Events Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events that bring the whimsical, joyful world of Susan Alexandra to life. This role focuses on community engagement, event logistics, creative partnerships, on site events and in-store support. The ideal candidate is highly organized, people-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple projects while representing the brand with warmth, professionalism, and enthusiasm.
At the core of this role is a fiscal responsibility to generate sales, promote the company and adhere to a budget. You are the representative of the Susan Alexandra brand and need to bring the Susan Alexandra principles to our community and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
Events Coordination:
(applies to bead nights, pop-ups, collaborations, community events, workshops, launches, etc.)

Staff all events.

Manage staff at events.
-
Ensure bead nights are available at agreed upon intervals (2x a month minimum, both stores).

Ensure all SA events are presented at the highest level of aesthetic beauty, abiding by set forth event designs.

Field all event inquiries and communicate proposals to Susan for approval.
-
Direct non-event inquiries to Partnerships/Sales.
-
Plan, coordinate, and execute in-store and off-site events.
-
Communicate upcoming events to the team weekly.
-
Update the SA events calendar with holds, confirmed dates, and final timing.
-
Create and manage event timelines, run-of-show documents, and logistics plans.

Coordinate vendors, collaborators, talent, and facilitators.
-
Assist with event-day setup, hosting, guest support, and breakdown.

Track and manage event budgets; secure written approval before incurring costs.

Produce post-event recaps within 48 hours including:

event costs

ticket revenue

purchases made during events
-
attendance and engagement

key notes or observations
Community & Partnerships:

Build and maintain relationships with local creatives, brands, influencers, and organizations.

Identify and pitch community partnerships or pop-up collaborations.

Manage outreach, follow-ups, and relationship tracking.

Serve as an enthusiastic SA brand ambassador in the community.
Marketing & Promotion:

Coordinate flyer creation and post 3–5 days before events.

Support event promotion via email, social channels, and in-store signage.

Coordinate ticketing setup, tracking, and reporting.

Manage RSVPs, guest lists, and on-site check-in if needed.

Capture photos/videos/stories during events for SA social channels.
Retail Support:

Collaborate with store staff to ensure seamless event execution.

Track event-driven sales, attendance, and customer engagement.

Assist with general retail tasks when needed to support event flow.
Schedule & Availability

20-30 hours per week depending on company needs.

Nights and weekends required based on event scheduling.

On-site presence required at SA stores and off-site venues.

Job Title: Freelance Content Creator (Part-time: 20-25 hours weekly)
Position Overview
We’re looking for a dynamic, highly creative Content Creator to bring our brand to life across social platforms, with a focus on TikTok and Instagram. This person is a self-starter, a genuine fan of the brand, and a natural storyteller with a strong point of view, sharp visual instincts, and a deep understanding of what makes content feel fresh, engaging, and true to a brand voice.
Working closely with the Founder/Creative Director and marketing team, you will lead the end-to-end creation of short-form content—from ideation through execution. You’ll translate our world into compelling, social-first storytelling that resonates with our audience and supports continued growth.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for someone who thrives in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment and is excited to contribute meaningfully to a growing brand’s digital presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Concept and pitch short-form content ideas across social platforms (primarily TikTok and Instagram)
- Collaborate with leadership and the marketing team to plan content and inform overall social strategy
- Produce, shoot, edit, and deliver high-quality, social-first video content
- Partner closely with the Founder/Creative Director and marketing team on creative direction and execution of social shoots
- Capture content at key brand moments, including store events (bead nights), product launches, fashion week, and other activations
- Appear on camera in select content, showcasing product in a natural and engaging way
- Edit content using agreed-upon tools, delivering polished, platform-optimized assets
- Deliver content in a clear, organized, and timely manner for seamless posting
- Stay ahead of trends and proactively contribute to content and community growth strategies
- Track and present weekly performance metrics (engagement, reach, clicks, etc.) to inform future content
- Attend weekly marketing meetings and collaborate on upcoming content priorities
Qualifications
- Ability to take initiative and own the content creation process from ideation through final delivery
- Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and internet culture
- Strong instincts for what makes content resonate—and why
- Experience using social analytics and performance data to inform content strategy
- Ability to ideate and execute quickly and independently
- Proficiency in short-form video editing (CapCut or similar)
- Strong visual eye, with an interest in fashion, accessories, and styling
- Highly organized and reliable, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Prior experience creating content for fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brands is a plus

Job Title: In-House Painter (Full-Time or Part-Time)
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented In-House Painter to join our team. This role focuses on hand-painting miniatures and creating small-scale models for production and custom projects. The ideal candidate has a strong artistic eye, a steady hand, and experience working with intricate, small-format designs.

Job Title: Bench Jeweler (Full-time / On-site)
Reports to: Senior Director
The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in jewelry production, with strong bench jeweler skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail. This hands-on role involves creating, repairing, and finishing jewelry pieces while maintaining consistency and adhering to the quality standards and craftsmanship that define the Susan Alexandra brand. The candidate should also have experience in vendor and supplier sourcing, with the ability to balance creativity and operational rigor. Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability in a fast-paced studio, and excellent time management are essential.

Execute a wide range of bench skills, including assembly, sawing, filing, polishing, and soldering (stone setting and painting skills a plus, but not required).

Follow design specifications, technical drawings, and quality standards to ensure accuracy and consistency across all styles.

Inspect materials and components, report defects, ensure efficient use, and suggest improvements to reduce waste and costs.

Support prototyping and sampling of new designs, collaborating with the design team and studio manager to translate sketches into viable pieces.

Collaborate with the production manager and leadership to meet deadlines, manage priorities, and maintain workflow.
